NASDPTS 54th Annual Conference
October 27 - 31, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City Hotel 


Hosting the conference at the Nation’s Capital allows us to meet in-person with our federal partners. Agencies invited to present include the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Education Department (USDOE), among others.

The conference will also feature technology updates from our industry suppliers, to include electric buses and best practices training by other presenters. Conference workshop topics will focus on addressing the driver shortage, illegal passing, entry-level driver training (ELDT) successes, IDEA Transportation Requirements, Transporting Students Experiencing Homelessness and many others.  New State Directors will participate in a New State Director of Pupil Transportation Orientation event which will include information on what resources are available in order to help in his/her state governance.

Additionally, each of our Supplier Council Members will be displaying its products during our Supplier Showcase, a tabletop exhibit meant to bring members and sellers together to share industry products and experiences.

Never attended a NASDPTS Annual Conference?  We will have a special First Time Attendee Orientation session for you on the first day of the Conference, then introduce you to Conference Helpers who will make sure you receive the full conference experience.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Annual Conference Registration is $250 per person.  You must be listed as a NASDPTS member representative (and in good standing) to receive member rates for registration to NASDPTS events, webinars, etc. Click below to register for the Annual Conference. 

You can also register a spouse/guest (not meant for a co-worker) for $125 per person.  The spouse/guest registration allows for him/her to attend meal functions only (no meetings or events).


If you are yet-to-be-a-member, you must submit a membership application prior to registering for the Conference. Click below to register to be a 2022 NASDPTS member.  After your dues are paid, you may complete your conference registration.


HOTEL INFORMATION

The Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, NASDPTS's Headquarter Hotel, is located approximately 5 miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and approximately 2 miles from the center of Washington, DC. 

NASDPTS attendees can receive a discounted room rate of $204 (plus 14.25% tax) per night when booking your room under the "NASDPTS Room Block".  This room rate is available until Wednesday, September 28th or until the block is full.

When making room reservations, please consider that registration does not begin until the afternoon of Thursday, October 27th, and the first event is dinner that evening.  The Conference will commence mid-day on Monday, October 31st.
